While the full lineup for Lollapalooza has yet to be released, the Chicago Tribune reported Wednesday that Eminem will be among the headliners at this year’s festival.
Joining Mr. Mathers in the endeavor will be Skrillex, Kings of Leon (grab Tulsa concert tickets to see one of their next performances), and Arctic Monkeys.
Eminem previously headlined the festival, which will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, back in 2011. Based on the footage from the show, it looked like Em’s set was pretty well-rounded, with old fan-favorites interwoven between newer material. When you have a discography as diverse as Eminem’s, striking the right balance between classic tracks and new singles is key to leaving the crowd happy (you know, because I obviously have a lot of experience performing songs in front of a stadium full of people and thus am an expert in the art of crafting the perfect set list).
We’ll bring you the rest of the lineup when it’s announced next week, so stay tuned.
