King Louie releases ‘Tony’ mixtape

For a few years King Louie has been pretty insistent that you call him “Tony”.

The Chicago artist has done everything he can in the past few years to fixate his alias in hip-hop fans’ ears. He started with screaming the Scarface protagonist as an adlib, then moved on to a supposedly self-titled song on 2013′s “Drilluminati 2″ mixtape, declaring that “My name is Louie, but they call me Tony” as the hook. Now the drill scene pioneer is making SURE you know what he wants to be hailed as.

Out of seemingly nowhere yesterday, King L gifted the streets with his newest mixtape – aptly titled “Tony”.

The fifteen track collection is boosted by some top notch production, with beats destined to crack the pavement. Features are few and far between, which is no problem with Louie’s charisma that typically carries a track. Drill fans should find this to be an excellent addition to their summer playlists.
