Drake and OVO Drop a Timberland Collab for Black Friday

Originally known for wearing some egregious outfits in his early days as ironically enough, “Heartbreak Drake,” the 32-year-old rapper has finally found his aesthetic. You can get some of that famed winter-sport look with his new Timberland Collaboration dropping for Black Friday.

There is not exactly any time of the year where Drake could drop clothes and it would not make at least some headlines, but what better time is there than Black Friday?

Drake’s everything brand “OVO” is making use of the “after-holiday” to release a match made in heaven with Timberland.

Like I mentioned before, it took a long time for Drake to outgrow silk patterned buttoned downs and sunglasses on the red carpet, but now the 6God has made a decent name for himself within hip-hop style for his sporty jumpsuits and outerwear that one would definitely need for a winter in Toronto.

The Timberland drop today consists of the iconic 6-inch boot in both your typical suede and black leather. You can also buy the more unorthodox but equally as appealing field boot. These of course, also have an OVO patch to fit an already Drizzy-esque color scheme.

If you still prefer a pair of Jordans to lace up in or simply live in the south like me and don’t need boots, OVO has you covered with some brand new sweatshirt drops as well.

Next: Double Dragons: Drake & Chris Brown

Now for the information that matters – the price. The boots will be going for a strong $280 with the sweatshirts being sold at $148.  Hooray for Black Friday sales, right?

Well to be like 6God, I guess you have to pay up like the 6god. Considering standard Timbs retail close to $200, it isn’t that much of a markup. Rappers have sold collaborations much more expensive.  Maybe that should be the next topic of discussion on this platform.

Regardless of price, you can find these and more Drake and OVO products on octobersveryown.com
