Spoiler alert: Ty Dolla Sign won’t be making the show

While I hate to be the bearer of bad news, it is my duty.

It seems that fans of Ty Dolla Sign won’t be given the chance to spend the evening with their favorite rapper/singer/producer.  The Los Angeles native will not be making any lyrical performances in Atlanta or any other city, for that matter, until a Fulton County judge decides his legal fate.  Having spent the night in jail and being officially charged with possession of marijuana and cocaine, Ty Dolla Sign was reportedly pulled over in a routine traffic stop on Wednesday afternoon in Atlana, Georgia while on his way to perform on-stage with fellow rappers Lil Uzi Vert and G-Eazy at the Endless Summer Tour.

Ty Dolla Sign Busted

In a scene that was caught on tape and later surfacing on the pages of TMZ, Ty can be seen cuffed, arrested, and taken for a ride in the back of a squad car.  In that order.

As Ty’s squad and onlookers observed, K-9 search dogs landed themselves job security by making the discovery of marijuana inside the vehicle, yet no one wanted to cop to being the possessor of the drugs.

According to reports online, the other occupants of the vehicle were released without charges.  While Ty is known for being musically inclined and self-taught at playing bass, drums, guitar, and keyboard, he should have taught himself how not to play with his freedom with so much to lose.  With one city left on the tour, we’ll have to wait and see if Ty will make it to Florida for an encore.

Spoiler Alert and no pun intended fans, but the magic “eight ball” says that you’ll need a refund for the show that Ty was unable to attend.  No official word has been released of a bond determination.
