Cardi B announces looming divorce with Offset

One year and three months later, Cardi B made the heavy hearted announcement that her marriage to Offset is over and they’re calling time of death on their relationship amicably.

Revealing that things have not been copacetic for a while now, it was back in February of 2017 that Cardi B and rapper Offset made their love official to the inquiring fans of social media on Valentines Day after rumors of a potential romantic partnership began churning.

The duo had gone half on a track called Lick that was featured on her mixtape Gangster Bi**h Music Vol. 2, partook in a Super Bowl date on Instagram Live, and were seen out publicly causing the churning rumors to gain momentum.  Though the two opted not to confirm it in actual words when asked by various publications and interview hosts, it was displayed in photos, body language, and facial expressions.

Around October 2017, the relationship took a detrimental turns with gossip of infidelity.  She opened up to W Magazine that same month on how the issues that continue to plague the couple take a toll on her peace of mind, especially since he is the father of three children from three different women beyond the one he shares with his wife Cardi.

But the unthinkable happened in Philadelphia despite their hesitancy to tie the knot.  In front of a sold-out audience while mid-performance, Offset took to one knee and proposed marriage.  A half a million in engagement diamonds later, their secret marriage took place in Atlanta at the home the couple share.

Wednesday morning, the Bodak Yellow femcee took to Instagram to announce that they haven’t been together for a long time as they’ve grown out of love but still maintains love and respect for him.
