In March, the Drake, Kendrick Lamar beef is going to be a year old. Although the two haven’t liked each other for over a decade, and they've taken subliminal shots at one another numerous times, the beef officially started with Future and Metro Boomin's song “Like That.”
Then on Sunday night, the memories of the beef were refreshed with Lamar sweeping all categories he was nominated in at the Grammys for his Drake diss "Not Like Us."
While the fans of Lamar and the media have had a lot to say about his wins, someone managed to reach out to Drake’s father for comment. In a video uploaded to TikTok by joy.of.everything, Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, is seen answering questions about Lamar’s Grammy wins.
He was asked, “What do you think about Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” getting Record of the Year?" If we look past the absurdity of the question, Graham handled it very well. Trying to deflect from any further controversy his words might start, he stated that he doesn’t care about it.
Graham said, “I don’t care nothing about that s--t. It ain’t got nothing to do with me.” The 70-year-old then added that he wishes Lamar nothing but the best, showing incredible character despite whatever has happened between his son and the Compton rapper. “All the best to him," Graham stated.

Graham must’ve understood that whoever reached out to him for his comment was looking for some rage-filled answer for it to go viral. He said, “I don’t do that bulls--t.” But in the end, Graham’s clip went viral anyway.
The good thing in this scenario was that he wasn’t on video saying something bad about Kendrick or anyone else. But again, there was a strong effort to pry something controversial out of him.
