The ongoing feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj has reignited with a new online beef. On December 14, Nicki Minaj took to Twitter, expressing frustration over Billboard allegedly dismissing sales for her Pink Friday 2 album. She claimed a potential loss of sales units due to a rule violation regarding fan proof of purchase.
Part of Minaj's grievance included highlighting the disparity, stating, "You can give out millions on Cash App tho." She also endorsed a tweet critical of Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's 2020 $1 million Cash App giveaway, initiated through the #WAPParty contest to celebrate powerful women.

Cardi B entered the conversation by liking a tweet addressing the #WAPParty giveaway. The tweet emphasized that the Cash App partnership for "WAP" occurred after it had already reached number one, required no proof of purchase, and welcomed any woman in need. “The Cash App partnership for WAP was during the end of the second week. It was already number one and it required NO proof of purchase and didn’t even require you to be a Cardi fan. The only requirement was that you had to be a WOMAN who could use the extra funds.”

Addressing the accusations, Cardi defended the "WAP" initiative, emphasizing its philanthropic purpose to aid women during the pandemic without the need for music purchases. She called for an end to unwarranted provocations and narratives, asserting that responding to such instances shouldn't paint her as the problem.
Amid their exchange, Cardi B strongly responds to fans comparing her dress to Nicki Minaj, not holding back on any criticism. She consistently finds a way to address such comments, emphasizing that she dresses for herself, not for others.
This latest exchange underscores the persistent tension between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, with social media serving as the battleground for their public disputes. As the feud continues, fans are left anticipating further developments in this ongoing saga of rivalry and online confrontation.
