Hip-hop mogul 50 Cent has weighed in on the ongoing legal battle between Terrence Howard and Creative Artists Agency (CAA) over the actor's salary for his role in the hit TV series Empire.

Howard has filed a lawsuit against CAA, alleging that the agency prioritized its own interests and those of the show's producers over his own by inducing him to accept a below-market salary during his six-season stint on the series. In response to the news, 50 Cent took to social media to offer his support to Howard, writing,

"Damn @theterrencehoward call my phone I will get you the money they was supposed to get for you."

The legal dispute between Howard and CAA centers around the agency's alleged conflict of interest in packaging the deal with Fox, which allegedly prioritized the interests of the agency and the show's producers over Howard's own interests.

Howard claims that he was induced to accept a below-market salary during his six-season stint on the series, and that he was mostly in the dark about CAA's packaging fee. Howard's legal team argues that the agency did not act in his best interest by pushing for a higher salary because it had a profit participation stake through its package, so CAA had an interest in maximizing the total profit that 20th TV realized on the series. Howard's lawsuit also claims that there was a racial component to the agency's alleged failure to negotiate in the best interest of Howard.

Howard's lawsuit is the latest in a string of legal disputes over compensation for actors in the entertainment industry. The lawsuit also highlights the ongoing debate over the role of talent agencies in the industry, and the potential conflicts of interest that arise when agencies represent both talent and producers.
