Howard has filed a lawsuit against CAA, alleging that the agency prioritized its own interests and those of the show's producers over his own by inducing him to accept a below-market salary during his six-season stint on the series. In response to the news, 50 Cent took to social media to offer his support to Howard, writing,

"Damn @theterrencehoward call my phone I will get you the money they was supposed to get for you."

The legal dispute between Howard and CAA centers around the agency's alleged conflict of interest in packaging the deal with Fox, which allegedly prioritized the interests of the agency and the show's producers over Howard's own interests.
