J. Cole's Music Continues to Shine with 27 New RIAA Certifications

The rapper adds more platinum and gold plaques to his impressive collection.

J. Cole, one of the most acclaimed and influential rappers of his generation, has achieved another remarkable feat in his career. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has confirmed 27 new certifications for Cole's singles and albums, reflecting his massive popularity and impact in the music industry.

Cole's latest album, The Off-Season, which was released in May 2021, has earned four new platinum certifications for the songs "Pride is the Devil" featuring Lil Baby, "My Life" featuring Morray and 21 Savage, "Amari" and "95 South". The album itself has also been certified platinum, making it Cole's sixth consecutive platinum-selling album.

Cole's previous albums have also received new certifications, including his 2016 project, 4 Your Eyez Only, which has now seven platinum singles: "Neighbors", "Immortal", "Deja Vu", "Change", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "She's Mine Pt. 1" and "She's Mine Pt. 2". The album's title track has also been certified gold, along with "Ville Mentality" and "Foldin Clothes".

Cole's 2018 album, KOD, has also added two more platinum singles to its list: "Kevin's Heart" and "ATM". The album's title track and "Photograph" have also been certified gold. Cole's 2014 album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, has also seen two of its singles, "Wet Dreamz" and "No Role Modelz", reach 5x platinum status.

Cole's collaborative work has also been recognized by the RIAA, as his features on 21 Savage's "A Lot" and Young Thug's "The London" have both been certified 4x platinum. His appearance on Miguel's "Power Trip" has also earned him a 3x platinum plaque.

Additionally, Cole's contributions to the Dreamville Records compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III, have also been certified, with "Under the Sun" featuring Lute and DaBaby reaching platinum status, and "Down Bad" featuring Bas, JID, EarthGang and Young Nudy achieving gold status.

Cole's impressive collection of certifications is a testament to his artistic vision and consistency, as well as his loyal fan base and cultural influence. Cole has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards for the 2022 ceremony, including Best Rap Album for The Off-Season and Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for "My Life". Cole has previously won one Grammy Award for his collaboration with 21 Savage on "A Lot" in 2020.
