Jess Hilarious, the unapologetically candid co-host of The Breakfast Club, has set the hip-hop world abuzz with her recent commentary on Nicki Minaj’s tour strategy. In a recent episode of Jess With The Mess: Uncut, Jess raised eyebrows by suggesting that Nicki Minaj’s decision to include comedian and actor Katt Williams on her Pink Friday 2 Tour might be linked to ticket sales woes.

The controversial claim

"When the f**k did Nicki and Katt Williams even have a fing relationship? To put him on your tour?"

Jess inquired in a clip posted to Instagram.

"Usually, people do things like this when the tour is not selling. Maybe it isn’t. Now, that’s very expected these days because of the economy."

Jess didn’t hold back, drawing parallels to Beyoncé’s wildly successful Renaissance World Tour.

"People put sh*t on layaway to buy RENAISSANCE tickets, she quipped. "The economy is in such a sh*t place right now, it’s totally expected to not sell out your f**king tour. No icon, no matter how big or small, is exempt from promotion. You promoted that album, you did interviews, you popped out. You promoted ‘HISS."

Minaj’s response

Minaj’s fans, known as The Barbz, swiftly defended their queen.

"The tour has been sold out Ms. Mommas, one fan asserted. Do your research first because the lies y’all tell on The Breakfast Club should be a crime."

However, Jess had her supporters too.

"The best decision The Breakfast Club made was Jess, commented another fan. Whether I agree or disagree with this lady, she is unapologetically HER!! And she has an opinion and she stands 10 toes on it."

Minaj herself took to social media, sharing ticket sales data for the Pink Friday 2 Tour. According to a Live Nation press release, the tour became Minaj’s best-selling to date, with over 25 sold-out arena shows within days of presale. Minaj sold 30,000 tickets in her home state alone, including shows in Newark, New York City, and Brooklyn.

The countdown begins

The Pink Friday 2 Tour kicks off on March 1 in Oakland, California, and promises to be a spectacle. From Los Angeles to New Orleans, Atlanta to Philadelphia, and Toronto to Chicago, fans across the nation eagerly await Nicki Minaj’s electrifying performances. The tour concludes on May 13 in Oklahoma City.

So, whether Katt Williams joins the lineup due to ticket sales or not, one thing is certain: Nicki Minaj’s reign continues, and her fans remain fiercely loyal.
