Lil Baby boosts his portfolio with the grand opening of “The Seafood Menu” in the Atlanta University Center.

On Friday, July 14, Lil Baby added restaurant owner to his titles with the grand opening of “The Seafood Menu” along M.L.K Jr. Drive. While the Atlanta native recently announced the arrival of the seafood experience through an Instagram Story, the restaurant’s IG has posted call-outs to line cooks, cashiers, servers and general staff for a few weeks.

The business venture is more than a cash grab for the 28-year old entertainer.

Via 11Alive:

“It definitely means a lot to me. Not only because I come from these neighborhoods, but just for like neighborhoods all around the world. I just want to like make my impact more than just music.”

The Seafood Menu is a collaboration between Lil Baby and Chad Dillon, the owner of The Boiler Seafood and Crab Boil in Atlanta. Similar to Dillon’s approach to the food and beverage industry in Georgia, the businessmen found a gap in the market and filled it. Using the success and popularity of the Brooklyn native’s seafood boil eatery as a guide, Lil Baby will be well on his way to planting The Seafood Menu’s flag throughout neighborhoods around the country.

The menu at Lil Baby’s new restaurant boasts several steamed combinations of seafood, corn and potatoes, snow crab legs, whiting and most impressively seven distinctive butter sauces to spice up your meal.

With a music label and 13 Top Ten Billboard singles under his belt, Dominique Jones appears geared to take over another lane with the emergence of The Seafood Menu. If his career is a precursor, this business venture will not be the last.
