Lil Uzi Vert Reveals They Want To Remove All Their Tattoos To Have More “Corporate” Look
By Sara Gaini
In a remarkable twist, Lil Uzi Vert has made headlines by revealing plans to erase all of their tattoos, a decision that marks a significant departure from their earlier commitment to facial ink as a symbol of dedication to their music career.
Speaking to Ryan Leuteritz for LA Weekly, Uzi expressed a desire for a more "corporate" image, stating that their favorite tattoo is none of them, and they are actively seeking removal for all.
This unexpected choice contrasts sharply with the rapper's initial stance, where facial tattoos were seen as a commitment to their musical journey, especially after overcoming challenges like leaving a job at Bottom Dollar Food and facing homelessness.
The decision to remove tattoos comes months after Uzi expressed a desire for a "perfectly normal life." In a candid Instagram post, the artist shared reflections on life's changing dynamics, expressing hope for positive transformations. Uzi affirmed their commitment to achieving happiness and solidifying their status as one of the greatest musicians. However, the artist acknowledged the necessity of fulfilling contractual obligations, stating:
""Why not stop now? Because business doesn’t work like that. I have one more album [to] turn in. After that, I finally can genuinely smile.""

Earlier this year, Uzi dropped the highly anticipated album, "Pink Tape," featuring collaborations with industry heavyweights like Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Bring Me The Horizon, and Don Toliver. The project soared to the top of the charts, claiming the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 and selling an impressive 167,000 album-equivalent units in its debut week.
Recently, Uzi teased fans with "Red Moon," a track expected to be part of their final album, "Luv Is Rage 3." As the rapper navigates this transformative phase in their career, the decision to remove tattoos adds another layer to the evolving narrative of Lil Uzi Vert's artistic and personal journey.
