Playboi Carti announces 2024 dates for the Antagonist Tour
Playboi Carti has big plans for 2024. The rapper has confirmed that he will be going on a nationwide tour, in addition to releasing his much-anticipated third album. Carti posted the tour dates on his personal website, which run from January 14 to March 6.
Carti originally announced the Antagonist Tour in July 2023, with plans to kick things off in November, but the dates were pushed back by several months.

The rapper didn’t give a specific reason for the delay, but many attribute it to the making of his upcoming album, which he has stated will be his “best.”

Carti will be supported by rappers Ken Carson and Destroy Lonely, as well as the group Homixide Gang. All of these artists are signed to Carti’s record label, Opium, and regularly collaborate.
Carti praised his opening acts during a 2022 interview with XXL:
"Ken and Lonely, they are two kids who grew up where I'm from. And they are family. As they got older, they started rapping. I met Homixide about three years ago... They're superstars. I love them. They have my my full focus. That's it.""

The Antagonist Tour will be the first time Carti has gone on the road since the King Vamp Tour in 2021. Appropriately, the gap between tours reflects the time that the rapper has spent making his new album.

Carti has not announced an official title for the album, but a leaked group chat message has led to speculation that it will share its title with the tour: Antagonist. The album's release date is still TBD.
