Philidelphia-born rapper Armani White is making some waves this year. Releasing his first self-released album Keep in Touch back in 2019, Armani White managed to attract some attention with his Billboard-topping track "Billie Eilish". Having reached as high as 58th on the Billboard Hot 100, Armani seems to have earned some momentum with the track, now signed to Def Jam Recordings and recently releasing a nine-track studio album titled Road to CASABLANCO.

Now that we've had some time to truly digest the album, let's take an analytical deep-dive into what Armani offered on his 3rd studio album, Road to CASABLANCO, and rate each track, finishing with an overall rating of the entire album!

Rhyme Junkie Rating: Road to CASABLANCO by Armani White

For the sake of this article, let's briefly discuss how the track list is rated. Each and every track is carefully dissected and given its own numerical rating in the following categories:

Listenability

Think of this category as a "general rating". It refers to whether or not the song attracts interest throughout the entire track.

Content

The content category refers to the lyrics of the given track. It's determined by the artist's lyrical competence.

Musical Composition

This is a fancy way of saying beat, instrumental, or backing track. It refers to the part of the track that doesn't include lyrics or ad-libs.

Delivery

Delivery encompasses a couple of things, but for the sake of Rhyme Junkie Ratings, it will refer mostly to the artist's ability to evoke the emotion they're attempting to explore from the listener.

Flow

Last, but certainly not least, is flow. Flow refers to the artist's ability to match the lyrics to the rhythm of the musical composition.

After each category receives a numerical rating between 1-10, the five scores are averaged, producing the track's final rating, starting from the lowest end and ending with the highest-scored track.

Without further ado, here is a complete rating of Road to CASABLACO by Armani White, starting with the lowest-scored track! (For the sake of this rating, the first track titled "Proud of You" isn't on this list, as it's not a song)

8. NO MISTAKES by Armani White rating

Listenability: 6.2/10
Content: 6.5/10
Musical Composition: 7.8/10
Delivery: 7.5/10
Flow: 6.8/10

Final Rating: 6.9

"NO MISTAKES" by Armani White missed the mark a bit. The message behind the song was made with good intentions, however, the hook sounded more like something of a parody and took away from the delivery of the track. The flow felt off and misguided, often out of place and random. The ending of the song does leave the listener with a heartfelt look into Armani's plead for strength and guidance, presumably geared toward his newfound stardom and hopeful future.
