The veterans of hip-hop, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, are having a groundbreaking revolution as they have been chosen to sponsor the Arizona Bowl. As a result, the Gin & Juice brand of theirs is on the college football scene.And now, it’s officially named the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl Presented by Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop where everyone is sure to enjoy an all–day football game like never before.

The partnership

The Arizona Bowl, a game that bears the history of teams from the Mountain West (MWC) and Mid-American Conference (MAC), had entered a multi-year partnership with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre’s ultra premium spirits company.Snoop and Dre’s Gin & Juice, ready-to-drink entry, the quintessential name for the duo, pays homage to Snoop's 1994 hit, "Gin & Juice," from his album, Doggystyle, produced by Dr. Dre.

A new era for Bowl Game Sponsorship

This partnership marks a historic moment in college football. For the first time, an alcohol brand will serve as the presenting sponsor for an NCAA Bowl Game. Snoop Dogg expressed his excitement, saying,

"I’ve sent many players through my SYFL to colleges (and the NFL), so it’s only fitting that I bring the ‘juice’ back to college football. Dr. Dre and I are thrilled to take our brand to the next level with this collaboration."

Snoop Dogg is express his concern about the current state of college football. He believes that there is too much focus on topics like conference realignment, coaching changes, transfer portals, and the emergence of super conferences, which has led to fans becoming tired and disengaged. Snoop Dogg believes that it's time to return to the core elements of college football, such as the schools, players, competition, community, fan experience, and pageantry.

As a devoted fan, coach, and supporter of all levels of the game, Snoop Dogg has shared numerous ideas with universities and the NFL to address these concerns. He feels that it's appropriate for him to step up and help set things right in college football. He is determined to reignite the passion and excitement that the sport once had.To achieve this, Snoop Dogg is announcing his collaboration with the University of Arizona.

Beyond the game

Along with the bowl game in Tucson, various activities are set up for the city before kickoff. Charity events that include the famous SNOOPER Bowl, top youth football teams of both California and Arizona, will be among the attractions. Snoop Dogg’s benevolence section involves the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) that he began 17 years ago. SYFL guarantees that there should not be any kids who do not have the opportunity to participate just because they have physical or mental disabilities.

Kym Adair, Executive Director of the Arizona Bowl, emphasized the uniqueness of this partnership:

"This year, the Arizona Bowl is bringing sports, libations, and entertainment into a singular bowl game, and we are changing the definition of what a brand partnership is in the NCAA."
