Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg is having his day, again and again. From cocktails to cooking shows, an international tour, movie roles, and coaching spots on NBC’s The Voice, Snoop is everywhere. On the evening of May 13, Snoop Dogg made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, taking viewers on a whirlwind journey through his jam-packed agenda.

But what’s truly capturing the spotlight? His Olympic involvement and his new role as a coach on The Voice.

Olympic dreams and musical ambitions

Rocking a customized Olympics kit, Snoop is gearing up for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. As part of the NBC team, he’ll provide nightly reports from the world’s greatest multi-sport event. But it’s not just about sports; Snoop hints at something special:

"I wanna do something musical. Something comedic.” Could we see Snoop performing at the Olympics? "

From hip-hop to The Voice

Snoop’s pivot to The Voice is equally exciting. The 52-year-old rap legend joins the panel for the show’s 26th season. Alongside fellow newcomer, Canadian crooner Michael Bublé, Snoop aims to showcase his love for all forms of music.

"This is a great opportunity for me to show that I really understand music, he says. As a coach, he’ll provide direction to aspiring artists, helping them become today’s next big thing. But Snoop emphasizes, I’m not one-sided, I’m not just for you. I’m for everybody. I’m the people’s champ."

Cali to Canada tour

Before the Olympic torch ignites in Paris, Snoop will embark on a Canadia-exclusive trek this June. Teaming up with fellow G-Funk trailblazers Warren G and DJ Quik, the Cali to Canada Tour promises west coast hip-hop vibes and an unforgettable show.

"We’ll be doing what we do, he tells Fallon, representing that west coast hip-hop and giving up a great show."

Snoop Dogg’s multifaceted journey—from the Olympic stage to The Voice coaching chair—is a testament to his versatility and enduring appeal. As fans eagerly await his next moves, one thing is clear: Snoop remains the people’s champ, championing music, entertainment, and the spirit of collaboration.
