New York Griselda rapper and producer Westside Gunn is one of the best and most consistent artists in terms of quality and quantity of album releases in the genre in the last few years. In the 2020s so far, we've got some modern East Coast Hip Hop classics in the 2020 album Pray for Paris and 2022 mixtape 10. It was announced by Gunn last month that he will be releasing his first studio album since 2021 with & THEN U PRAY FOR ME on June 23. Expect to hear more grimy production and coke bars on & THEN U PRAY FOR ME along with some new sounds as Gunn always does a nice job of pushing the envelope in terms of beats and lyrics.
