Al B. Sure is a father in pain. At least it seems that way based on a recent Instagram message that he shared about his son Quincy Brown. "Nothing breaks a dad more than seeing his love for his kids turned into a weapon against him," wrote the veteran singer, who also used the hashtag #FreQuincy.

Normally, Sure's message would probably be chalked up to a simple father and son disagreement. But since Diddy adopted Quincy when he was a young boy and he's now in jail on sex trafficking charges, the message takes on another meaning.

This isn't the first time that Sure has sent a cryptic message about Quincy amid Diddy's legal problems. In September, after seeing his son in a video with Diddy, Sure implied that Quincy was being brainwashed by him. "Look at poor Stockholm victim Quincy in the background," wrote Sure above the video.

Quincy hasn't responded to his father's messages publicly, but he has been giving his full support to Diddy. He shared a joint message with his siblings about him in September to address talk that he killed their mother Kim Porter, who died in 2018 of lobar pneumonia.

Then in October, Brown, as well as his brothers and sisters, posted a message about how challenging it's been for them since their dad was arrested on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting prostitutes.

"The past month has devastated our family," their message reads. "Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD."
