B.G. explains why it looked like Birdman fell asleep on stage

Last month a video circulated that showed Birdman appearing to nod off on stage while performing with the Hot Boys. Group member Turk was rapping at the time, and the Cash Money co-founder was seen with his head slumped downward. That was until B.G. began wiping off his jacket, which got his attention.

So, what happened to Birdman during the performance? Was he lacking proper sleep or was he drunk or high? B.G. explained what happened during an interview with XXL and said Birdman wasn't asleep, he was actually paying attention to something on stage. But that didn't keep the Hot Boys from having a good, hearty laugh over the incident.

“He was just reading the teleprompter," said B.G. "They just got him on a bad angle, and we had a good laugh about it for a week. All of us laughed, josted off each other, josted off him because we thought it was funny. But it just really reminded me that the internet is really undefeated. Stunna ain’t never did no hard drugs. He always been strictly about the bag.”

Turk said more or less the same thing during a recent interview on B High ATL's podcast, saying that Birdman was looking down at something during the performance.

But that wasn't the only time Birdman being on stage sparked plenty of discussion. Earlier this month, a video surfaced of the 56-year-old giving a speech while the Hot Boys walked off stage. It looked pretty embarrassing, and the clip went viral. You can check it out below.
