If anyone knows anything about Cam'ron, he doesn't let a diss go unanswered, even before he got into the podcast game.
So, it's no surprise that Cam responded to LiAngelo Ball saying that he's a better rapper than him, which he claimed during an interview with Complex that was published last week. "I don’t deal with it. Like, that don’t bother me, bro," said the Ball brother, referring to Cam dissing him late last year.
"I’ll just address it because I ain’t finna get punked for nothing," the "Tweaker" creator continued. "Like, dawg, what is you saying? They don’t know me at all ... I think I rap colder than him. Basketball, colder than him."
The Dipset frontman responded on his It Is What It Is podcast and said LiAngelo must have Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy, which "happens when a sudden, external, physical assault damages the brain," per John Hopkins Medicine.
"I never seen a basketball player, rapper with CTE," said Cam. "There's no other way to explain it ... I've never seen it before. I thought it was a boxing or football thing. But obviously rappers, basketball players can get it too. You know what's crazy? ... In part of the interview he said, 'Yeah, you know that's why I don't be talking. N-----s be talking about me ... I knew I had this coming down the pipeline.'"
"First of all, ok cool, we didn't know you rapped like that," the New York rapper added. "Why do n----s keep moving the goal post? We said you're not a professional basketball player. I don't understand how n-----s keep switching .... I never said he couldn't rap. I didn't even know he did rap ... And we can tell how quickly he switched his occupation."
Cam'ron then addressed LiAngelo's claim that he's a better basketball player than him. In short, Cam said at 48 years old, he has no interest in playing a game against the Ball brother, whether it's one-on-one or full court.
