It'll be just a few more days until Cordae's third album The Crossroads is released. It drops on Friday, November 15, and he recently shared the tracklist, as well as the cover.
At 16-songs long, the album features a bevy of big-named rappers. Lil Wayne appears on two tracks, "Back on the Road" and "Saturday Mornings." Other features are Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Juicy J, Ty Dolla $ign, Jordan Ward, Raven Lenae, and Joey Bada$$.
In fact, Cordae already released the song with Joey. It's called "Syrup Sandwiches," and both rappers display some high-level rhyming.
βIt's nothin' to me, you n----s ain't f----n' with me / You're butlers to me, them young n----s uppin' the heat / They stuck to the streets, like concrete, the hustle's in me / They say you gotta beat the block up 'til your knuckles'll bleed / That mean a n---a gotta rap until the pen out of ink / Your team weak, like Justin Timberlake, y'all been out of sync," raps Cordae.
He also released the song "Mad as F---k," as well as "Saturday Mornings," two strong cuts that have been well-received.
The 27-year-old's last album was 2022's From a Birds Eye View, which secured the thirteenth spot on Billboard's 200 chart. His debut album, the one that put him on the hip-hop map, is The Lost Boy, released in 2019.
On another note, Cordae and his girlfriend, tennis star Naomi Osaka, welcomed their first child together last year, a daughter named Shai. The rapper talked about becoming a father when he was on LeBron James' HBO show The Shop last year, saying he's blessed to be in a good financial place before his child arrives.
And with the release of The Crossroads, Cordae will probably make a lot more money since he'll likely go on an extensive tour.
