'Dropped a CLA$$$IC': Drake fans react to his collab album with PARTYNEXTDOOR

It’s been a few days since Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped their collab album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U. The album was released on Valentine’s Day as a gift from the artists to their fans. Drake and PND have been teasing this album for a while, so the expectations from it were very high.

The first reactions to the album suggest that it has lived up to the expectations. Fans of both artists are very happy with the final product. Drake fans are especially thrilled to hear him on a project, because he hasn’t released an album since October 2023.

YouTuber LosPollosTV declared Some Sexy Songs 4 U a classic after first listen. He took to X to give his take on the album, writing, "Drake just dropped a CLA$$$IC.”

Meanwhile, one hip-hop fan posted this: “Best first listen we’ve had in a long time ngl.”

Drake’s good friend and NBA superstar Kevin Durant also joined the celebration with fans. He wrote, “Deeper is an all time Party song already.”

Popular streamer Kai Cenat was doing a live reaction to the album with his fans and was seen vibing to the songs on livestream.

The album is definitely R&B, a genre that Drake has proven to be great at in the past. While songs like "MOTH BALLS," "CRYING IN CHANEL," and "SOMEBODY LOVES ME" had the fans feeling the R&B vibe, "GIMME A HUG" came as a surprise.

Drake rapped on the song and got a lot of things off his chest in its 3:13 run time. In verse one, he addressed how people have been waiting for his downfall. Drake said, “You Neo in the matrix, these n----s just Nemo in the ocean / Small fish, making kids feel emotion / Using you for promotion, truer words had never been spoken / N----s want to see RIP me on a t-shirt like I'm Hulk Hogan.”

In verse two, Drake says that he’s done with the rap beef and wants to get the party started.
