Fat Joe breaks his silence on Remy Ma, Papoose marriage drama, says they won't listen

Remy Ma and Papoose's marriage has seen better days.

Last week, Remy released a bunch of her husband's text messages that showed he's romantically involved with boxer Claressa Shields. Papoose pretty much admitted it, saying he's been seeking a divorce from Remy and moved on. Shields copped to the affair as well.

Remy exposing Papoose's messages comes long after she was accused of cheating on him with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain, which Pap brought up on social media.

"Last time I saw this chump, he was in the fetal position," he wrote, referring to Eazy The Block Captain. "Everybody saw it! When I knocked him out @remyma woke him up. And went home with him for 4 days. I went home with my daughter! ... I didn’t knock him out because he slept with my wife. I knocked him out because he shook my hand. And then slept with my Wife."

Fat Joe, who's Remy's longtime rap partner and godfather to her and Papoose's daughter, broke his silence on the drama on a recent episode of Math Hoffa's My Expert Opinion podcast.

"Because of him, she made me love him,” said Joe, talking about Papoose. "I really love him. That’s my goddaughter’s father ... I’m like, I try to tell y’all I’m old school morals and s--t. So like with me, it’s like, d--n, like I’m the godfather. These people pass away, I raise the baby. I don’t like none of that s---t."

He continued. "What I can’t do is stop it, or they won’t listen to me. The first time she ever asked me for advice, I said, 'Listen, it’s different. You have a husband, this is your husband.' Nobody come to my house tell my wife s--t. This is your husband. I can’t get in the middle of that s--t."
