J. Cole seems to be pretty generous when it comes to taking photos with fans, and one of the latest was taken with a woman who seemingly saw him in public.

Usually, Cole's fan photos get a good deal of attention, but this one in particular seemed to spark more talk than usual. That has to do with what Cole is seen wearing in the pic, which is a gray hoodie that reads, "I'm Retired (This is as dressed up as I get)."

The photo and shirt have some believing that the Dreamville honcho is walking away from his successful rap career, even though he's been talking about dropping his next album The Fall Off for some time.

Cole hasn't responded to the hubbub surrounding his retirement shirt yet. Nor has he reacted to Freddie Gibbs' recent diss song, "The Big 2," which dropped on Wednesday. The title is an obvious reference to the "Big 3," a term used to describe Cole, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar.

"All this talk about these threes and who's the biggest / I got Fours and Lords cliqued up with GDs like a coalition / Never cared about no rapper status, I stayed in position /
But these bars will leave some scars across your heart, boy," raps Freddie in the song.

Gibbs also dissed JPEGMAFIA and Benny the Butcher in the cut. One could say that the Indiana rapper wants to keep his name ringing in rap circles since his latest album You Only Die 1nce reportedly suffered from low sales.
