Lil Durk, real name Durk Banks, is now being held at Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles after being extradited to California from Florida. He was arrested late last month at Miami International Airport on a murder-for-hire charge.

Right before his arrest, he tried to flee the country, according to the indictment. It's said that Durk booked a one-way flight to Switzerland, as well as Dubai, and secured a trip to Italy on a private jet.

And all of this was done right after five men associated with his record label Only The Family were arrested for murder. The names of those OTF affiliates are Keith Jones, Deandre Dontrell Wilson, Kavon London Grant, Asa Houston, and David Brian Lindsey.

Plus, per AllHipHop, a Los Angeles grand jury charged Durk with one count of conspiracy, one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying and discharging firearms and a machine gun.

Reportedly, the five men shot 18 rounds at a gas station in broad daylight, and put a lot of people in critical danger.

"Mr. Banks is charged with orchestrating a cold-blooded murder that resulted in the death of a rival’s family member,” said U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada. “Not only that, the shooting occurred in the open, at a gas station at a busy intersection, endangering many others in the area. Violent gun crime of this sort is devastating to our community and we will have zero-tolerance for those who perpetrate such callous acts of violence."

Rondo talked about the attempt on his life during a recent interview with DJ Akademiks and said he regrets how his beef with Von played out. Rondo explained that if he had to do things over, he would've tried to settle his issues with the late Chicago rapper through battle songs.
