Nicki Minaj accused of dissing her ex Safaree & Erica Mena

Nicki Minaj hopped on Instagram Live yesterday, October 16, and chastised some people. She didn't mention names but based on comments, many believe her remarks were aimed at her ex-boyfriend Safaree and his ex-wife Erica Mena.

Safaree and Erica have been going at it on social media in recent days. In fact, Safaree just posted a video of Erica attacking him and throwing furniture around while their children watched. Erica addressed the video on Instagram and said her ex-husband "violated" her body, which is why she got angry.

The timing of Nicki's message seems to be one reason why people think she was speaking to Safaree and Erica. Plus, in 2022, Erica said she wasn't a fan of Nicki's music and called it "cartoony," so it's possible Nicki was getting her back.

"I don’t know who needed to hear this, but good for you," said Nicki. "You see, sometimes you need to leave people dem alone ... And sometimes when a queen is minding her business ... and [girl] get in the queen convo ... they want the queen life."

"And stop f-----g lying," she added. "Don’t go out your way and start harassing people who never said anything about you or to you ... Be careful what you ask for. Be careful what you beg for. Be careful what you want to disrespect other people for having ... I don’t know who needs to hear it, but good for you."

Safaree and Nicki dated between 2000-2014. Safaree then married Erica in 2019 and their divorce was finalized in 2022. They have two children together, a daughter named Safire and a son named Legend.

Neither Safaree or Erica have commented on Nicki's video yet. If they do, both should prepare for a heated response since the Queens rapper has a history of going off on people who she feels wronged her.
