Another track coming from the Take Care album. "The Ride" is not usually talked about when it comes to Drake tracks. There's no cultural impact from it, nor was it a big single. However, the song is a beautiful way to end that album (Not the deluxe version).

Drake is reflecting on his newfound mainstream success. He is not used to this lifestyle just yet, but he is trying to navigate through all of it. The best part of the entire track is Drake rapping over the production, which is The Weeknd singing in the background.

This pairing of Drake and The Weeknd was prevalent on this album and the closing track was a perfect crescendo to that pairing and that album.
