In a show of solidarity, rapper 50 Cent has come to the defense of Golden State Warriors' Draymond Green, who recently faced a suspension from the NBA after an altercation with Jusuf Nurkić. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 50 Cent shared a video clip capturing Green's intense moment on the court, expressing both astonishment and a commitment to apologize on behalf of the NBA player. He remarked, "This fool is my favorite player, WTF Is wrong wit him. 🤷 that was a mistake, I will apologize for him. 🤨 come on, it’s a physical game."

The incident unfolded during a game between the Warriors and the Phoenix Suns, resulting in Green's ejection and subsequent indefinite suspension from the league. This marks Green's sixth suspension, underscoring a history of various altercations during his career. Following the game, Green publicly apologized to Nurkić, stating, "I’m not one to apologize for things I meant to do, but I do apologize to Jusuf." He said: “Even though I didn’t intend to hit him, I sell calls with my arms. I don’t fall to sell a call. I’m not a flopper.

“I was just selling the call because he was grabbing and pulling my hip. So, I spun away. And unfortunately, I hit him.”While expressing concern for Green's behavior, Nurkić shared his perspective, saying, "Personally, I feel like that brother needs help." Despite Green's apology, the NBA has opted for an indefinite suspension, emphasizing the need for him to meet specific conditions before returning to the court. This decision stems from Green's track record of unsportsmanlike conduct, including a recent suspension earlier in the season for an altercation with Rudy Gobert.

As the controversy continues to unfold, 50 Cent's vocal support for Draymond Green adds an intriguing layer to the ongoing discussion surrounding the physicality of the game and the repercussions faced by players involved in on-court altercations.
