Bobby Shmurda & Rowdy Rebel aren't friends anymore, says Brooklyn OG

If you're not familiar with the name OG Product you might be soon. He's somebody from Brooklyn said to be connected to the streets and its murmurings.

Product sat down for an interview on RapMatic and spoke about an alleged falling out between Bobby Shmurda and Rowdy Rebel, which has to do with NBA YoungBoy. See, back in 2022, while on the My Expert Opinion podcast, Rowdy criticized Quando Rondo's friend Lul Tim for shooting and killing King Von, an opinion that Bobby didn't care for.

In short, Rowdy said that Tim should've just backed people away from Rondo when Von approached him to fight, but Bobby said Rowdy shouldn't have spoken about other people's beef. It's important to note that Bobby and Rowdy are both linked to Brooklyn's GS9 crew, and they've been close for years.

It's even been said that Bobby added more time to his prison sentence so Rowdy could come home earlier after they and other GS9 members were arrested on a slew of charges in 2014 that included gun possession and attempted murder.

So, after Bobby weighed in on Rowdy's comments about Tim, he got into a back-and-forth with YoungBoy, threatening violence and according to OG Product, Bobby and Rowdy fell out with each other over that. There's also a rumor that Bobby can't go back to a certain section of Brooklyn, his home borough, because people are mad at him.

“You know him and Rowdy not cool no more," said the RapMatic host. "They fell out over the NBA YoungBoy s**t ... I was hearing from the streets, they say he don’t got no pass to come back to the 90s, ‘cause he ain’t put nobody on.”

“I went on Bobby’s page the other day just to see something," Product responded. "Ain’t no more GS9 underneath, no Crip sign, none of that. "

Product also suggested the people in Bobby's Brooklyn neighborhood are upset with him, because he's doing better than they are. But in 2022, Rowdy said that he could never beef with Bobby, so we'll have to see if he shoots down Product's claim.
