Kendrick Lamar is said to be dropping a new album soon

Kendrick Lamar is known to be an introvert, and someone who prefers being in solitude. So, since he was in the public a lot during his epic battle with Drake, some on social media said he'll go back into hiding for replenishment.
It's also been said that Kendrick won't be releasing new music during that time, but now there's talk that he will be dropping something new. That has to do with a text message that was leaked between L.A. rapper Hitta J3 and someone who's believed to be Kendrick.
"But aye. Is the album coming or is you just on demon?" reads Hitta's now-deleted message. "We coming," Kendrick supposedly wrote back. Obviously, there's a good chance the message isn't from the Compton rhymer but it still caused a huge stir.
Later, DJ Hed, who's plugged into the L.A. rap scene, responded to the rumor by posting a cap emoji when he saw it on Instagram. That means he believes the rumor is a big fat lie. "Dot don’t really talk to nobody.. especially not Ak," wrote Hed in a separate post, referring to DJ Akademiks, who reported the rumor.
Akademiks then blasted Hed on live stream by saying he has a solid record of breaking stories.
"I'm the greatest single journalist you've ever heard of," said Akademiks. "I built a $20 million industry by doing this s**t. I played Drake's video and Drake had to ask me, 'How'd you get it?' When I tell you something came from or something I know when it comes to Kendrick or whatever, I don't give a f**k who Kendrick is, I don't give a f**k about none of these n****s."
"Akademiks is the greatest single journalist you've ever heard of," he continued. "You could be f******g Kendrick if I said it. That's what it is. Let me be clear: I don't need to talk to the artists. How much sh*t did I break about Yung Miami? You think I ever talked to her? Nope."
So, now we'll have to see if Kendrick does drop a new project or not. One sign that it's possible is the 37-year-old teasing a new song at the beginning of his "Not Like Us" video, which could be the first single to a new album. Only time will tell.
