Sexyy Red's high school photos go viral

If you thought rocking red hair and taking photos with stacks of cash is new for Sexyy Red, think again. She's been doing both of those things since high school. We know that because she shared a series of throwback pics from her time at St. Louis' Normandy High School, and they went viral.

In the first batch of photos, a younger and more innocent-looking Red is seen wearing her signature Red wig, holding money, and posing with classmates. There's really nothing out of the ordinary in the pics since the "Pound Town" rapper looks like your average high school student, perhaps with a little more swagger.

Evidently, Red shared the photos to celebrate the new school year. "HAPPY 1st DAY OF SCHOOL ;) #BEENDATGURL," wrote the mother-of-two.

Other pics show her sporting a blonde wig, rocking designer handbags, and wearing a cap and gown for graduation.

More of the same can be seen in the second group of photos, but one in particular shows her looking incredibly young. It's possible that pic was taken when she was a freshman but it's not specified. Either way, her followers loved the photos based on their comments.

"I love you. So raw and authentic," one person wrote. "She Been Holding A Stack For Years, You Gotta Respect It," someone else commented, while a third person wrote, "You been fly."

But the comments weren't as positive after Red began promoting her new lip gloss line this week. Mainly, because the names are ultra raunchy, which is consistent with her brand. Now, they're too racy for us to share on this site, but you can see them here.

Again, many said the names are highly inappropriate, and Red was taken to task. "Why do y’all support somebody like this," someone wrote on Instagram. "Those names are horrendous," another person stated.
