2. The Price of Tea in China - Boldy James & The Alchemist (2020)

Boldy James might be a name you do not know or recognize. However, if you do know about Boldy James, then you definitely know about this album right here as one of the best in recent memory. The combination of Boldy James and The Alchemist is the perfect tandem that not a lot of people know about.

The Alchemist is a legend in the game, as he has prodcued some of the best rappers in game since the 90s. To see him tap in with an under the radar rapper from Detroit, such as Boldy James, is cool to see. The first time these two linked up was back in 2013 with the album titled, My First Chemistry Set. In the that seven year gap, Boldy James released several mixtapes and were featured on tons of tracks.

Then The Price of Tea in China came out and Boldy James became a name that was known a lot more. This album has made this duo into one of the better producer-rapper combos in hip-hop. The production you know is going to be phenomenal, but that drug talk by Boldy James is second nature to him. His believability is through the roof, as each line is as convincing as the last.

There is not a single miss on this album. This duo is going to be seen for years to come. Their partnership is still going strong, which is a blessing because this album is amazing, despite it being very under the radar.
