In a fiery Instagram post, Ye, the artist formerly known as Kanye West, didn’t hold back. He boldly claimed he had the upper hand in two heavyweight rap battles: one with Kendrick Lamar and another with Drake. The hip-hop world is buzzing as Ye asserts his dominance and stakes his claim as the one true GOAT.

The Kendrick Lamar showdown

Ye kicked off his post by declaring,

"Everyone knows I washed Kendrick on No More Parties in L.A"

The track, a 2016 collaboration from Ye’s album The Life of Pablo, was packed with bars, but it never cracked the Billboard Hot 100. Despite its platinum certification, the Madlib-produced gem remained an underground favorite.

Taking aim at Drake

But Ye wasn’t done. He turned his attention to Drake, asserting,

"Everyone knows I washed Drake at the Free Hoover Concert in 2021"

The Larry Hoover Benefit concert held at Los Angeles’ Coliseum witnessed Ye’s lyrical prowess as he went head-to-head with the Canadian superstar. The crowd felt the heat as Ye delivered his blows.

Adidas, music, and the comeback

Ye didn’t limit his boasts to rap battles. He reminded fans of his impact beyond the mic. “Everyone knows I brought Adidas into this culture and then took them out,” he wrote. The apparel giant severed ties with him in 2022, but Ye’s influence remains undeniable.

And music? Ye claimed to have invented every genre over the past two decades. From Yeezus to Dark FantasyPabloGraduation, and 808s & Heartbreak, he’s been a trailblazer.

"I am the only person to come back number one after cancellation, he declared. "

His controversial journey hasn’t stopped him from reaching the pinnacle of the charts.

The one and only GOAT

In a final mic drop, Ye summed it up: “There is only one GOAT. I stand with me. My friends call me Ye :).” His confidence is unwavering, and fans are eagerly awaiting his next move. Rumors swirl about Vultures 2, with a rumored release date of May 3. The first installment, featuring Ty Dolla $ign, soared to the top of the Billboard 200, and the single “Carnival” hit No. 1 on the Hot 100.
