Tyler, The Creator has the internet buzzing with his new single and possible album

The internet is currently on fire, thanks to Tyler, The Creator releasing a new song called "St. Chroma." He dropped the video for it today, October 16, and it racked up over a half million views in a few hours.

In the black-and-white clip, Tyler can be seen leading a group of men through the dessert like a drill sergeant. They eventually all end up in a long box with the word "Chromakopia" written on it. Then someone pushes a button, and the box explodes while the video goes from black-and-white to color.

As for the song itself, Tyler raps in a whisper style, but his words are still pretty easy to understand.

“Calm down, sit still, that's one mill for each will / Top down, big deal, how the f--k he do that? / What the f--k I look like? Get the f--k up out his way / I do this where I'm from, on the planet where him stay / Fifteen, cash for that new Ford / I had guap since nineteen / I popped out like a cha-ching, I think I'm a God d---n fiend," he raps.

Based on the video, there's a very good chance that "St. Chroma" is the first single to an album called Chromakopia. But either way, people said they love the song and visuals.

"I have listened to this 100 times on repeat," someone wrote in the YouTube comments. "Tyler wasn't kidding when he said he wanted to work in film and cinematography. The production of this teaser is incredible, even though it's so short," a second person wrote. "Tyler be like Kendrick [Lamar]," someone else commented. "Just dropping bangers on a random Wednesday morning."

Tyler's last album was 2021's Call Me If You Get Lost, which came after Igor, released in 2019.
