The reactions to A$AP Rocky being acquitted of first-degree assault this week are still coming in.
The Harlem rapper was accused of shooting his former friend A$AP Relli in 2021 after an argument in Hollywood. If convicted, Rocky could've spent 20 plus years behind bars.
Tyler, The Creator, who's Rocky's longtime friend, spoke about his reaction to the verdict on his Chromakopia World Tour in Los Angeles. The former Odd Future leader said he nearly fainted when the not guilty verdict came down. Tyler followed that up by telling the crowd to be careful who they're friends with.
"I almost passed out when they read the verdict," Tyler admitted. "My brother Rocky is not guilty. That’s a testament to watch who y’all keep around you because n----s be jealous, bum a-s, loser a-s, b---h a-s n----s ready to take you down. I’m so grateful for my motherf-----g brothers. I done had the same friends for almost 20 years. I love y’all n----s so d--n much. Shout out Rocky. I love you, n---a. My n---a free. Yessir!"
