Fresh off being acquitted in the A$AP Relli shooting trial, A$AP Rocky performed at Rolling Loud Los Angeles on Saturday, March 15, as the headliner.
He began his set with footage of his trial playing on several screens. Rocky then appeared in a helicopter that hovered high above the stage. From there, the Harlem rapper was lowered on a harness before landing on stage to perform.
Rihanna, the mother of his children, plus, Beyoncé and JAY-Z's daughter Blue Ivy, were in the crowd as well, according to HotNewHipHop.
Then later in the set, Rocky previewed some new songs, and in one of them he seemingly blasts Relli for testifying against him. According to Rocky, he and Relli were never buddies, despite sharing the same A$AP crew name.
"N-----s do the most when they irrelevant / Claiming A$AP, but we were never friends," rapped Rocky. It's possible that the song will be on his forthcoming Don't Be Dumb album.
But Rocky isn't the only person who dissed Relli in a song. Kendrick Lamar did the same on the cut "Good Credit," which is on Playboi Carti's new album, I Am Music. "Belly on chain go big, white gold link fall on the belly / The emerald cuff for hers and his, that bitch on point like A$AP Relli," raps the Compton spitter.
Relli has been pretty much ostracized by hip-hop since testifying against Rocky, and he's kept a rather low profile. However, he did react to Rocky being acquitted.
"Gossiping is a form of entertainment for people who have no meaningful goals or purpose in life, hate me, bring shame to my name, say bad things about me, I don’t care," wrote Relli last month, which was later shared by Vibe. "Your existence doesn’t add any value in my life."
