A Diddy sexual abuse hotline received 12,000 calls in just 24 hours

Last month Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee said he was representing 50 people who accused Diddy of sexual abuse, and that number has since swelled to 120. On top of that, Buzbee created a hotline for Diddy's alleged victims, and it received a whopping 12,000 calls in a 24-hour span.
Buzbee, who owns the The Buzbee Law Firm, spoke about the hotline with Law & Crime and explained why he believes so many calls came in.
“I think the indictment and the arrest kind of gave people a little more comfort that they had more safety and support to step forward," he explained. "When I made an announcement that I was going to pursue this case, the floodgates really opened. In a 10-day period, we got 3,200 calls, and then from the press conference we had yesterday, we had 12,000 calls in about 24 hours.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Buzbee said he'll also be going after those who were involved in Diddy's alleged crimes and sex parties.
"We know that there were people in the room when some of these things occurred," he said. "It’s my view that if you participated in it, if you benefited from it, if you encouraged it, if you watched it go on and were somehow involved — whether it be even peripherally involved and did not try to stop it, especially in regard to minors, then it’s my view that you have liability on the civil side."
Diddy was arrested on September 17, in a New York City hotel and was charged with sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. During a press conference, U.S Attorney Damian Williams said the 54-year-old threw sex parties called "freak-offs."
Plus, one of the federal agents who raided Diddy's homes in March said the embattled mogul had cameras set up in "sex rooms," and guests were being recorded from all angles.
