While many are probably thinking about Diddy's alleged victims, Bow Wow is thinking about the fallen mogul's infamous parties.

During a recent appearance on the More to the Story podcast, the rapper-turned-actor complained to Rocsi Diaz about Diddy's arrest affecting the party scene. As most probably know, Diddy was charged with sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy last month and pleaded not guilty.

"I never thought I would see it like this," said Bow about Diddy. "He’s like the gatekeeper to the game, to the point where BET Award weekend, like the past two, it just didn’t feel right because there was no motion, there was no parties."

Bow Wow then brought up his longtime producer and mentor Jermaine Dupri.

"But it shows how monumental, how important he was to the culture,” Bow said about Diddy. "I said, 'Jermaine, there was no parties.' And you feel it. It’s like a hole. He was just such a gatekeeper for the liquor and the clubs. He was everything hip-hop. So for that to die out, you just really never thought. Especially when you look at somebody as somebody you studied, somebody you idolized."

The Like Mike star was skewered for his remarks, which shouldn't be surprising. "Diddy party withdrawals is crazy work lol," one person tweeted. "Bow Wow is itching and scratching for a Freak Off party," tweeted another.

"This goes to show some men don’t mind being friends with rapists especially if the perp is a powerful man," a third person stated. "Their proximity to power is very important. They don’t view sexual abuse as a vile and serious crime. It explains why all these sex offenders thrived for so long."

It's important to note, however, that Diddy hasn't been convicted of rape yet, and he'll have his day in court on May 5, 2025.
