Diddy had a meltdown in jail, says a source

Diddy's legal team has tried to get him freed on bond more than once without success. So, he had to remain in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center for Christmas and didn't see his children. He's been there since September after being arrested for sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transporting prostitutes.

Now, the Daily Mail reports that being locked up for the holiday season has really gotten to the 55-year-old. So much so, that he had a mental breakdown. This is according to a source of the publication, who said Diddy asked to be taken to a prison hospital for observation, but his request was denied.

"With his high powered legal team Diddy thought he’d be out on bail by now," the insider claimed. "Spending the holidays behind bars was a nightmare for him. He eventually managed to calm himself down with the meditation technique he’s been using while he’s been behind bars. It took him a few hours of deep breathing and focusing to get out of the bad space he was in, but he finally managed it."

But a source connected to Diddy denied that he had a breakdown and said he's staying strong, despite missing his kids.

Either way, Diddy has denied the charges against him and pleaded not guilty soon after his arrest. His criminal trial is scheduled for May 2025, and he'll be behind bars until then. He also has a high number of civil suits to deal with that are all related to alleged sex crimes.

One of those suits is from a man who spoke to CNN earlier this month, saying Diddy sexually assaulted him in 2007 when he was working security at one of his parties in the Hamptons. The man said it happened after the Bad Boy founder gave him some drinks that were laced. You can see his interview below.
