The civil suit that was filed by Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee against Jay-Z and Diddy was dismissed without prejudice last week.
Both men were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000 at an after-party for the MTV Music Awards. The woman's story had plenty of inconsistencies from the beginning, and both moguls vehemently denied the claim. In fact, JAY sued Buzbee for extortion, as well as defamation.
The Brooklyn rapper's legal filing recently surfaced, and it detailed all that he and his wife Beyoncé went through over the now-dismissed suit.
"People have said, 'I can’t wait until you join (Diddy) in prison, then later in hell,'" it says in court documents. "Other comments have accused me of being a 'satanist,' a 'trafficker,' a 'terrorist,' and a 'monster,' called me the N-word and threatened violence against me and my wife, including to 'kill' or 'execute' us."
Plus, JAY addressed Buzbee filing the suit one day before the premiere of his daughter Blue Ivy's movie Mufasa: The Lion King.
“Buzbee purposely filed this lawsuit on the eve of my daughter’s premiere to put me in the position of having to choose between supporting my daughter or hiding to avoid the negative press coverage," wrote the 4:44 creator.
JAY also addressed the suit being dismissed in a letter and said false accusers should be punished, lawyers included.
“Today is a victory,” wrote JAY on Instagram. “The frivolous, fictitious and appalling allegations have been dismissed. The civil suit was without merit and never going anywhere. The fictional tale they created was laughable, if not for the seriousness of the claims. I would not wish this experience on anyone. The trauma that my wife, my children, loved ones and I have endured can never be dismissed.”
“This 1-800 lawyer gets to file a suit hiding behind Jane Doe, and when they quickly realize that the money grab is going to fail, they get to walk away with no repercussions. The system has failed," the message continued.
