After a lengthy wait and a lot of anticipation, Playboi Carti's new album I Am Music dropped today, March 14.

It's still early, so it seems many are still determining how they feel about it. However, one person already shared their thoughts on the album, and that's Kanye West, who had something to say about Kendrick Lamar being featured. The Compton rapper is on three songs, "Mojo Jojo," "Backdoor," and "Good Credit.

"I DONT LIKE KENDRICK LAMARS MUSIC. HE RAPS VERY GOOD BUT I DIDNT NEED TO HEAR HIM ON CARTI ALBUM," wrote West on social media, per HipHopDX.

But despite slamming Kendrick's music, Ye praised him last month for the way he handled Drake in their battle.

"Kendrick has advanced the frequency," said Ye during an interview with Justin LaBoy. "It’s like when Twista came out. There was rappers that didn’t learn but then Jay-Z learned that you could do it. If you don’t really learn as just a professional rapper, as a sport, what Kendrick is doing, you might be wiped. You might be wiped out.”

Ye also said in that interview that Kendrick killed Drake for him since The College Dropout creator had issues with Drake for years.

In regards to I Am Music, it's a 30-song offering with a who's-who list of guest features. The Weeknd is on the song "Rather Lie," Future is on "Charge Dem H--s a Fee," and "Trim," while Lil Uzi Vert is featured on "Jumpin."

Others on the LP include Travis Scott, Ty Dolla $ign, Skepta, and Young Thug.
