Back in December, most were probably filled with Christmas cheer but not Remy Ma, because she accused her husband Papoose of cheating on her with boxer, Claressa Shields.

That led to an all out back-and-forth between Remy and Shields. Papoose weighed in on the drama as well and completely blasted his wife. But let's start from the beginning when Remy shared some text messages between the boxer and her husband.

"Papoose dum a-s fell asleep on the phone with @claressashields. Laying in my house he refuses to leave," wrote Remy while exposing the texts. "This b---h supposed to be a world champion boxer and get scary a-s hung up soon as she heard my voice. Nowwww I’m telling everything ohhhh and babygirl u not the only one."

Shields responded by bringing up the claim that Remy cheated on Papoose with battle rapper Eazy The Block Captain, writing, "How a woman with 2 boyfriends mad at a man that has a girlfriend. @remyma. if I ain’t the only one why the hell you tagging me????"

The women continued to swap insults, while Papoose called Remy a narcissist. Then in an interview with Jemele Hill, Shields said she'd be willing to get in the ring with Remy for just $1.

So, it makes sense that Keke Palmer would ask Shields about fighting the Bronx rapper, which she did on her podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer. "When are you knocking Remy Ma out?” Palmer questioned.

Shields answered by saying that she wasn't being serious when issuing the fight challenge.

“Listen, I woke up that morning just as shocked as everybody. Like, 'what the hell? Oh, my God. What’s going on?' I’m like, ‘I want to promote the movie. What is this?'” Shields explained, referring to her 2024 film The Fire Inside. “So, you know, they say all publicity is good publicity.”

“I have to tell myself, like, this comes with the territory,” she added. “So I think it’s not about the problem, it’s about how you handle the problem. And I think I handled it very well."
