Yesterday, October 21, was Nick Minaj and Kenneth Petty's fifth wedding anniversary, and she posted a message to him on Instagram.

"24 years after we first met. Love at first sight," she wrote. "I’m so proud of you. Thank you for catching me…every single time. Thank you for our little BFF. Dear Ken, Happy 5th Anniversary, Love, Barbie. 10.20."

Nicki also shared a video and a series of photos with her message. The clip shows Kenneth playing with their son, known only as Papa Bear. The photos show the couple sitting in what looks to be a casino, and others show them posing in different locations.

A lot of Nicki's followers responded to the message with kind words. "Happy Anniversary to the King & Queen Cheers to Real Love," one person wrote. "Yall so cute! The way he holds you down! yea yes yes! Love this for you! And awww that picture of papa thru the red thing," another person let Nicki know. " Plus, a third person wrote, "Happy 5th anniversary Barbie and Ken!! So happy for y’all, my fave couple fr."

However, the warm responses to Nicki's anniversary message are much different than some of the comments she received when celebrating Papa Bear's fourth birthday earlier this month. That's because she shared several photos of her son and posted a bunch of Kenneth pics as well. So, some said she was honoring her husband more than her child.

"Dear weak loser tweeting about someone else’s bday b/c you have nothing to rejoice about in your own sad existence & clearly don’t feel loved & definitely not paid attention to due to your ugliness!" Nicki responded on X.

"Nothing in the tweet has to do with ANYONE’S bday," she added. "So ummmmm how’d you know? Oh right. OBSESSED WITH ONIKA!!!!! DING DING DING️. Obsessed, ugly AND a VERY low IQ. They always check the same boxes."
