J. Cole is getting obliterated by Drake fans for doing a song with A$AP Rocky

With it's overall sound and shifting trends, rap music changes all the time. One noticeable switch is rappers' fans insulting each other on social media. These days it's not enough to just champion an artist, people feel the need to argue with fans of other rappers.
That was really shown when Drake and Kendrick Lamar battled each other earlier this year since their fans constantly bickered, which is still going on today. So, imagine what the response was like when A$AP Rocky dropped his new single “Ruby Rosary," featuring J. Cole, and produced by The Alchemist, which came out today, September 6.
Basically, Drake's fans ripped Cole for the collaboration. Mainly, because it appeared he had a close relationship with the OVO rapper, who's currently beefing with Rocky. Drake dissed Rocky on the song "Family Matters," and he hurled insults at Drake on "Show of Hands" as well as "Highjack."
Plus, fans are upset with Cole, because it seems like Rocky dissed Drake again on “Ruby Rosary." N***a want smoke with me, tell him, ‘Push up, Hercules’ / Hercules, tell him push up, tell him pull up, 33,” raps Rocky, seeming to bring up Drake's diss song “Push Ups."
Rocky is also being accused of going at Drake with these lines: "Who dared me to die? You a dead man walkin,’ like you barely alive / Cut everything but the family ties / Cut the s**t, cut the lies, word to the wise / Who in your top five? / F**k your top five / I don’t get fresh to death, b****h, I’m buried alive / I heard dawg talkin’ funny, like it’s Family Guy."
So, because of those bars and the collaboration, Drake fans are calling Cole a traitor, despite the North Carolina rapper not insulting Drake on the track. Some of those comments can be seen below.
Undoubtedly, all eyes will be on Cole whenever he releases his next album, because he dropped out of his battle with Kendrick Lamar earlier this year, which he might address and he may also respond to this new narrative that he betrayed Drake.
