There's no stopping Doechii, because after releasing her well-received mixtape Alligator Bites Never Heal last month and being called rap's next big thing, it was announced that she'd be on Katy Perry's forthcoming single "I’m His, He’s Mine."

The pop star shared the news on Tuesday in a slick-looking Instagram post that show both women striking fierce poses. "I’M HIS, HE’S MINE ft. @doechii SEPTEMBER 13 SONG + VIDEO PRE-SAVE NOW KATY.TO/SaveIHHM," wrote Perry.

To say people are super excited about the collaboration would be an understatement based on their Instagram comments. "Aready know you and @doechii are about to eat this UP," one person wrote. "yeeeeeeaaaah queens! cant wait 😍," a second person stated. Plus, a third person wrote, "With performances and new songs this week, so blissful I would like to call this week Queen's Week🧡."

In related news, the Florida-raised rapper recently introduced fans to her alter-ego, a man named Ricardo, who hails from the country of Panama. She dressed as the character for a Paper Mag cover story and pulled out all the stops, wearing an Afro wig and fake abs.

"Last year, I started seeing comments from people who would say, 'She looks like a man.'" Or, 'She has on too much makeup. She looks like a drag queen,'" said Doechii in the Paper Mag interview. "All these comments never bother me, because I just find it interesting. But I was like, 'Since they keep saying I look like a man, I’m gonna f******g give them a man. An eight-pack, mustache man.’ That’s what inspired me to do the look and I think it turned out sick.”

Elsewhere in the interview, the TDE artist talked about the pressure she's been facing since becoming successful and admitted that it took a toll on her creative process. But she's since gotten back to basics and started making music for herself again.

"For a couple of months, especially towards the end of last year, there was a heavy amount of pressure on me to produce another hit single like 'What It Is,'" she explained. "Focusing on a hit single caused me to lose my passion for making music just to make it."

"I started making music with an intention, and I don't think that works for me as a creative," added Doechii. "So recently, I came to the realization that music is just my therapy, and when I make music from a pure place — just making it for me, and not for radio and not for my fans — when I'm making it for me, I produce my best s**t. Now that I'm back on that, it feels amazing."
