When rapper No Malice said he was done making music with his brother Pusha T, it seemed like their group the Clipse rode off into the sunset, never to return. Especially since Pusha made a name for himself by releasing some critically acclaimed solo albums.

But last month he excited fans by tweeting that a new Clipse album was on the way, and he doubled down on that in a new interview. "I’m so excited about this new Clipse album,” said Pusha on the Ghetto Runways podcast. “That’s what I’m on right now. It’s absolutely finished, just waiting on a feature."

The guest artist wasn't revealed but that didn't stop people from buzzing about the new album online, with one person tweeting, " Xmas came early." Meanwhile, another person wrote, "There’s only like 3 albums I’m really waiting on and this is one of them. I hope this is a My Brother’s Keeper concept joint."

The Clipse's last album was 2009's Til the Casket Drops, arguably their most pop-leaning project so far, thanks to the Pharrell Williams-assisted single "I'm Good." Again, Pusha released some high quality albums since then and got into a battle with Drake, which resulted in his scathing diss track "The Story of Adidon."

No Malice also released a couple of solo albums since Til the Casket Drops, 2013's Hear Ye Him and 2017's Let the Dead Bury the Dead.

One should be able to tell from the titles of those albums that No Malice began making Christian-based music after leaving the group. In fact, he delivered a lot of gospel bars on Til the Casket Drops.

Plus, he talked about his decision to stop making Clipse music in a 2022 interview with VladTV and spoke about his Christian faith. "I was absolutely born again," No Malice explained. "I gave my life to Jesus Christ. It's no other way that I can say it. "

No Malice — who changed his name from Malice when he exited the Clipse — also talked about the moment he told his brother that he was leaving the group.

“We’re in the elevator and I just told him, I was like, 'I’m really finished with this, man, and this is not what I choose to do' … So, I let him know I’m not doing this anymore, and he respected it," No Malice explained.

It'll be interesting to see what kind of verses he'll be delivering with Pusha T on the new Clipse album since the group became famous for spitting stories about their drug dealing past. But either way, Pusha is super excited to get the LP out there.

“I just created a masterpiece with my brother," he told the Ghetto Runways' hosts. "Something so crazy and it’s like I just can’t wait to present it."
