One would probably think that Plies dropping his lawsuit against Soulja Boy would make Soulja happy, but it seemed to rile him up instead.
Plies sued Soulja in November and accused him of sampling his song "Me & My Goons" for "Pretty Boy Swag," a song that Soulja released in 2010. Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla were also named in the suit since Plies said they took his song to make their cut "Wanna Be."
Soulja eventually blasted Plies over the suit, saying on video, "I got rap n*****s suing me. Plies ain’t got s**t on me."
Rolling Stone reported that Plies dismissed the suit on Friday, March 14, without prejudice. Then later, Soulja reacted to the news with diss words. "Just like I thought sit yo lil broke a*s down n***a. This my s**t dummy," he wrote on Instagram.
Some might not be suprised by the "Crank That" creator's reaction, because he seems to spend a lot of time feuding with other celebrities. Take actor and comedian Marlon Wayans, for example, who criticized Soulja for performing at a Donald Trump inaugural event earlier this year.
Marlon suggested that the rapper should be canceled over the performance, per AllHipHop, and Soulja hit back by basically calling him a sellout.
Plus, Soulja dissed Marlon for dressing up like a woman in his 2004 movie "White Chicks," but things have since cooled down between the men, and it seems the argument is over.
However, Soulja's beef with Plies is still open-ended since the Florida rapper hasn't responded to Soulja's words yet. There's a good chance he won't, though, because Plies doesn't usually engage in internet beef.
