Tory Lanez has always denied that he shot Megan Thee Stallion. But he did admit to having a huge regret about the night of July 12, 2020, the date the shooting took place.
The Canadian rhymer hopped on DDG's new song "Handling Business" and recorded his vocals from prison. And it's on that song that he expressed regret.

"Only one thing I regret about that night is jumpin’ up outta that pool with Kylie," rapped Tory, who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting.

He was referencing being at Kylie Jenner's L.A.-area home with Megan before the shooting. There's a video of the two rappers in her swimming pool, and they all seemed to be having a wonderful time.

During Tory's trial, he said that Megan was jealous because he was flirting with Jenner in the pool, which sparked an argument before the shooting. Tory admitted that despite having a sexual relationship with the Houston rapper, he had romantic feelings for Jenner. He made that confession in his song "Queen and Slim," off his 2020 Daystar album.

"Me and Kylie still off in the pool, we just chillin', kickin,' s--t was cool / Both of us ain't know you was trippin' / Even though I got a crush on Kylie, I woulda left with you if I knew you was dippin' / For the simple reason you invited me / But I can't act like shawty didn't excite me," he says in "Queen and Slim."

Megan hasn't responded to Tory's words on DDG's song, and she probably won't. The way it seems, she wants to completely move on from Tory and the shooting.
