Sexyy Red and GloRilla both had a huge 2024, because their songs have been nothing short of ubiquitous on radio and streaming sites.
They're constantly in the headlines as well, whether it's for their music or for the things they do outside of the recording booth. Not to mention, they both dropped well-received albums this year, with Sexyy releasing In Sexyy We Trust and GloRilla putting out Glorious.
So, some might be wishing they would drop a joint album. Especially since people love them together on songs like Tyler, The Creator's "Sticky," on his Chromakopia album and "Whatchu Kno About Me," a song on Glorious.
Well, it looks like people might get their wish, because Glo and Sexyy talked about creating a joint project while interviewing each other for XXL. "Ratchet as f--k," said GloRilla when asked what the album would sound like. "It gon’ be some super ratchet s--t. The n----s gon’ hate us. No, I mean the men gon’ hate us."
But Sexyy disagreed and said men would love their joint LP because they can relate to them and their content. "Because we both trench-certified, you know? Two young ladies," Sexyy explained.
GloRilla then brought up her debut single "F.N.F. (Let's Go)," reminding people that it was about not having a boyfriend and still being content. So, that's why she said the men might not like her potential joint project with Sexyy, because they'll probably release similar songs. "When I first came out with 'FNF' they was like, 'Who is this b---h talking about, f--k n----s?'" GloRilla recalled.
Undoubtedly, a joint album from Sexyy and GloRilla would break the internet. Especially if they release it while their respective brands are still scorching hot.
