Lunchtime links: Wu-Tang, Los, and Eminem

“Lunchtime Links” is our patented program where we separate the wheat from the chaff in the world of hip hop news, bringing you, the reader, only the stories most relevant to your interests*.

*Note: This assumes your interests overlap with ours. If not, uh, sorry. But hey, at least you get to look at a picture of an appetizing sandwich. That has to count for something.

Anyway, onto the links:

  • “Keep Watch,” the newest single from the Wu-Tang Clan, has been released. The beat is catchy as hell and will have you nodding repeatedly, so you better take medical precautions and protect your…protect your…protect your…damn, I had something for this.
  • As relayed by XXL, King Los (née Los) recently announced he’s parting ways with Bad Boy Records. He’s pretty damn gifted on the microphone, so I say it’s their los(s).
  • A report published today by the Chicago Tribune says Eminem will be one of the headliners at Lollapalooza this summer, which is awesome. Skrillex is also slated to headline, which is far less awesome.
  • Speaking of Mr. Mathers, he and Rihanna will embark on a three-city tour this August. The tour will be a tribute to corrosive chemicals, so expect a rendition of “Love the Way You Lye” to be performed.
